Cool another reader of the blog.
I listen to the podcast and hear Ariel mention he sent some winders to Malaysia.
Always wondered if any of out member has one.

Very nice! Congrats

Thanks for the compliments !
yes I'm a follower of Ablogtoread.com I actually bought 2 winders number 1 and number 18.
the watch is fantastic so far, I wear it 7 days a week. relegating all the others to the watch box.
but the in house P9000 movement isn't as smooth as I expected, the sound of the rotor is quite loud.
louder than Rolex or Hublot.
Is this normal ?

Pam only appealling in its design i will say. Its movements still have some way to go I will say.
Btw, nice watch and ride. Cayenne or Panamera?

Hi zeo9, If the power reserve is very low in the 312 n when u move your watch ,the rotor always sound louder than its near full or full power reserve. It has a twin barrel . Hope that answer your question..fr..tony.
Thanks for the compliments !

Thanks ! ya it's a Panamera.
That is true i'm pretty sure even a Seiko 5 movement is much quieter. just kinda disappointed that I paid premium for an in house movement that is
not up to expectation. :-\
But other than that the watch has been great ! looking for some nice straps now. :Dancing_banana:

i have same feeling too, i collect GMT watches...except Pam, eversince purchase 320 it becomes my favourite GMT, always travel without leaving it....

The main reason for the loud sound from the rotor i believe is because it is an open caseback. Pams have an appeal that is hard to explain. It takes one to own one to love one. Until you do, you cant understand its appeal just by looking or touching or trying it on.

The crown protector design give the watch and the wearer some character. But I still believe that the right Pam are those with manual winding.... The crown size is bigger...
