Title: Speedy Pro Club
Post by: rusminag on July 30, 2012, 10:58:32 PM
About 43 years ago, the Moon welcomed the first wristwatch, 'Omega Speedmaster Professional' worn by Buzz Aldrin.
Please show your Speedy Pro here, for others to appreciate them:

It is the x-33. It is a quartz watch and it can display the time or date or alarm or stopwatch or dual tie or mission time or a few other things.

Hi Speedy Pro owner, nice watches there, I wish and I am planning to get one by this year.

I plan to get a 3570.50

So I know we can't discuss watch price openly in here, so any 3570.50 owners out there, would you kindly PM me about the lowest price I can get from AD and which AD you recommend? KL or Selangor area.

Many thanks

Hi Allan,
Welcome to Malaysia Watch Forum.
The Speedmaster chronograph is a true Omega classic with lots of history behind it.
You really can't go wrong with this watch, especially if you're looking for your first Omega.
As for its cost we don't discuss prices here but you can easily check out the price with any of the ADs.

The only comment that I want to make is, if the watch is gonna be your only Omega, then it'd better be a Moonwatch. For the price you're paying for it, you're getting a legendary icon in the world of wristwatch. You can go to any international forum, and I can bet my bottom dollar that any WIS worth his salt would say to you the same thing. In fact, I don't want to comment any more but to only urge you to read these:

Beautiful watch bro

This iteration together with the tabbacco dial and Mitsukoshi edition are my favourite of the model. So do you ever miss it?

Was a tad too late in getting your YM.  :-[

You have a very cool diverse collection both past and present

Ivan, what's your take on the recently announced Z-33? I like the look of it and its specs, but might be kept at bay by its price which is rumoured to be around USD5K.  :'(

True, but the scratch is very prominent. Also, because I bought it online, I need to resize the bracelet. Know anyone that sells pin removal tool? It's on a Hirsch croco strap now.

Can this non pro be on this thread? Auto Val 7751. Not worn since 18 Sunday March. Took it out for fresh air. My most "complicated" watch. LOL.

Check if AM/PM at 9 o'clock 24 hour indicator. Adjust time to say 6am. Proceed adjust date go round many circles until March becomes October. Then adjust date to 26th. Then use toothpick press tiny hole at 10 o'clock until becomes Friday. Then pull crown out to adjust time to current until u see day, date and month change.

Any of u guys still have this in your drawer or store room? Or any variations of this Speedy 7751?

It's a triple date. Winding? Err.. Usually when it stopped I just either wind the crown forward when it's pushed all the way in. Don't really understand your question. Wind it like 20 rounds then it's good to go of course reset all the date day month and adjust time first la.

The 7751 is very robust. No worries. And this fella spins like crazy very fast and very smooth compared to the 7750 used in my IWC chronograph. It sounds more rough.

Ah, ok. Not getting a lot of wrist time and having to adjust everything is a little annoying. So clockwise for about 20 rounds? Roger!

Well while looking at all speedies wtchss here, i just wanna ask a lame question,

For a speed master pro, the power reserves stated is 48h right?

Anyone outhere has one that maybe got more power reserves?

Sorry if this is not a proper place to ask,
