Title: Breitling Chronomat Project Restore
Post by: corumsh on July 12, 2012, 07:26:38 PM
Hello, I just got my hand on a Breitling Chonomat B13050 18k gold with green dial. The watch needs to be restored as it is not running and the dial is chipped. Am thinking to bring it to tsc at amcorp mall. Need anybody kind advise if they happen to come across this situation before. Thanks in advance.

Best to check with them directly. From my experience they'll quote a price and wait for your confirmation before proceeding with the restoration.

Would it not be better to send to the Breitling service Center?

Without looking at pics and knowing the specific condition of the watch, I believe you will not be getting an accurate quote here...
Send it to the service centre, let them have a look at the watch and quote you a price on what needs to be replaced and serviced.
I think even with pictures, no one here can give an accurate quote unless we're working for Breitling or we have a pricelist of all the Breitling parts and service charges handbook lying somewhere...

Dial and 2 bezel crowns were also missing.. Guess the watch had a tough and mysterious history...anyway, just spoke to my fav watch shop at bsc and told me to bring the watch over and their technician will take a look at it...they promised to only charge part cost..  ;D

hi corumsh, if you have problems with the parts, maybe our fellow MWF Chrisyen can help if he is not too busy.
