I've been an avid collector of Swatches from 1991, when I received a black plastic piece; it has since gone missing, but my love of Swatches grew since then!
However, now I am nearing 37 years old, and have shifted interests to more mature watches! I'm now a very proud owner of a russian Aviator model 3105 mechanical watch, that I procured online from Germany.

Of course, I hope the otais here can help me with the following n00b questions:
1. I'm interested in Hirsch straps - where should I start looking? I heard the Red Army watch shop in Pavi and OU carry this brand? What other brands/types of straps should I look for
2. In the unfortunate (touch wood) event that my watch needs to be repaired/serviced, where could I find a good watch smith that can handle my type of watch, in the KL/PJ area
3. Should I get my own strap changing tools (I'm sensing a yes here!) - so where could I get decent ones?
4. how often should I wind my watch - for now, it's about 20 windings at around 6.55am everyday (...i.e. before dropping my son off to school and that's the time when I'm usually stuck at a traffic light!)
thanks a lot; I'll definitely enjoy reading the forums :D
