Hi everyone, I heard someone from a watch for sale site mentioned that there is a mark 1 dial for earlier deepsea. Can anyone please highlight me what is the different between the 2 dials? I happened to own a 2009 deepsea.thank you. tony

The changes is subtle but here are the changes between the dials:
The "E"s in "DEEPSEA" now have a shorter middle line.
The "S" in "SEA-DWELLER and DEEPSEA" has been changed from a "flat" tail to a "rounded" one.
The "ft" font has been changed.
The "=" sign font is no longer Italic.
Larger gap between the ft and metres depth rating.

Much appreciated for making it so clear.many thanks to the Hobbit again for the trouble of getting the 2 pictures for comparison ..

Oh one more thing, they (Rolex) also changed the font used on the dial. Also some say that the coronet was changed, but I cannot see the difference.
