Title: something different....
Post by: chrisyen on December 09, 2009, 08:13:03 PM
i always like watch different from others... so that i wont wear the same like others...
because of that... i never buy any tag heuer.... because i seen it too often.... especially in KL...
and i dont really like the design actually.... just personal... sorry tag fan....

few yrs ago, a fren of mine who like watches.... and poison me into watches shown me 2 watches from watchland (frank muller) he bought from sincere... a pierre kunz and a european company watch....

my first impression is WOW.... wholly cow... BIG !
i hv seen him wear pam quite often.... but these 2 rare breed is weird to me at that time !

yrs back i bought this

a mono bloc case.... typical italian bold design... from a italian watchmaker....
i was amazed by the quality of the watch in all aspect... but since my love of big watch... i let it go to one of our member here at a decent price....

last week... i made a bid for this

haha.... another ecw watch

after a while of playing.... found few problems...
1. the chrono 12 hour counter hand is not moving
2. the chrono second hand is off center
3. a dent at lug

above 3 was not describe by seller.... so i contacted the seller immediately.....
luckily the seller reply and offer for return.... but i'll lost a big sum on fedex charges....
so he said i can also send it back for repair at his cost....
after considering the expensive through n forth fedex charges n long waiting time, i ask him whether he can pay me for fixing the problem !
he said ok if the repair here is reasonable....

then contacted my watchmaker fren... he said he dunno how to open the case... n he do not hv gadget to press the bezel either....
then called my the other watchmaker fren in richemont for help.... he didnt pick up.... panick!
so i sms mwf member for help... but my watchmaker return my call finally....
with some calls.. we found the way to open the case and he has all gadget needed in his work place!
lucky quoted price agreed by the seller....

4 days.... my watchmaker just delivered this big chunk of steel back to me!
