Rolex Submariner 116619
(http://i1266.photobucket.com/albums/jj521/hanswilsdwarf/116619.jpg)
I have noticed that some newcomers do not realise that there are more to the submariners than just black and green. Yep there is blue (bi-colour or full gold) and others... but it is of a different price level obviously!
Enjoy :)

this is NICE........very NICE...something quite special like those Rollies that are treated in PVD/DLC after-market. At least you don't have to send a brand new watch to be opened up for cosmetic modifications..
if we want to buy every watch that catches our fancy....it's pure suicide
Any idea what the ball park figure is for this model?

About US$30K...since it comes in a white gold bracelet...there is one ad in mudah.com at RM68,500.

:Startled:thank God its way beyond my means...... ;D

I had the chance to "feel" it when I was in HKG last month. It's a really heavy piece, but the white gold and blue dial+bezel are a good match. The blue has a "metallic tone" and looks much much better than the blue you see in the TT sub.

yes and i was told WG is "soft"..succumb to dents easily..
-
is platinum d ..... about rm60k plus i saw at my local AD

the 116619 is 18k white gold, not platinum, and of course 18k gold is "softer" than stainless steel.
as for getting dents easily, I guess if someone is capable of paying roughly RM80k++ for a recent pre-owned piece or RM120k++ for a new piece, I don't think dents are something they have time to think about.
definitely one of the pieces I would like to have.

We are aware that its very expensive!

This model is 18K white gold on a Rolesor strap. Had the pleasure of wearing one and it did feel awesome (i don't know why :))
But, way to expensive for a daily wear. The blue colour ceramic bezel is just awesome and glossy. Perfect contrast to the polished center links of the bracelet. Goo luck with your new watch my friend.

Some of the grey or second-hand dealers in Klang valley have the same belief, hence not easy to move the item.. if a customer wants one, it can be procured, but must pay non-refundable deposit! :)

I'd rather buy it cheap cheap from verytuaki...
