Since I was asked to put up a new poll ;D
Just curious what are the dream brand among the forummers here.
-
Why the owner has not voted?? ;D
I have voted FP Journe.
-
You are faster than me ... I am all for PP but VC and Lange are very close.
-
Dream watch..... definately Patek Philippe , Ladies First Chronograph. ;)
-
Luxury watch. Interesting... i go for VC.
-
Can i add one more to the poll? H. Moser & Cie? I really dream of the perpetual calender because real understate :)
And price is not super expensive and i think it looks like an "achievable" dream :p

Hmm..i thought it's still consider cheapest compare to PP/VC/etc...??
De Bethune a bit too complex for me to dream about ;D I don't like nightmare :HammerHead:
thanks for added the extra ;) Voted

The De Bethune i tried out while in an AD with Scott previously was RM200k ! But OMG that was a really nice watch.
-
would be nice if voters tells us the specific model too that they dream of. you cant possibly love everything in FP Journe's range right? (just an example)
-
i think most believe that the holy trinity are VC, AP and PP....Lange is a contender too...
for those ultra rich.....vianney, RM, MBF, gruebel forsey will be their fav brands...
for me...a PP/AP is good enough...

James,
You already have one in your collection. I guess AP is next and won't be far off
-
PP perpetual calender.. ;D
-
I voted Blancpain simply because not of the brand but just for it's FF
I do not have a particular fave brand ...jsut particular models that i wanna have. so ...my vote is kinda pointless i guess :D
being a rough and tumble guy.. i only go for sports models... :Laughing_on_floor: the type of watches you can wear and take on the world!!! :Dancing_banana:

I really wanted to vote for Seiko, with their Spring Drive, Credor and Grand Seiko luxury range. Orient with their Orient Star and Royal Orient can certainly give the Swiss companies a run for their money. Citizen's Campanola range of hand finished quartz watches certainly is worthy of our attention. How come the Japanese luxury brands are not on the list? ???
-
Quite true Danny, at least the Grand Seiko and Credor range should be up there.
Has anyone seen a Credor in person before?
-
not held it in my hand before but saw it in Thong Sia's showcase over here in SG.

japanese is not luxury brand to most here.....
-
Come to think of it, some model name listed here. Heard about it, some name - could not even pronounce it properly, let alone dream about it. Then how to vote?..... :Blue:
Maybe, I am native and have not seen the world (is not enough)
No offence made.........
Just my 2 cts worth

Yeah ... I probably should have included the Japanese watch makers as well but this is just a general perception about brands. I also didn't include Tag, Oris, etc. I like the Seiko Spring Drive but Seiko is hardly my dream brand!

You should drop by Thong Sia and get a feel. Almost sucked me in... luckily the sales gal is busy with her regulars. :)
