Although he didnt mention the brand but we all can see he is repairing a Rolex.
But looks like he is wearing a Bulgari Diagono?
So what does everyone thinks bout what he said in the video?

I not sure about watchmaker in Malaysia generally but I know that some independent repairers are very well known for their service provided. Some of them are official repairer for certain brand (low to super high end). I send my tutima to this person for quote and the price he offered for full movement overhaul & new gasket was fair. Checked his feedback on the net and most are satisfied with him.
He can source new dial/hands/bezel from the manufacturer for me if I want to and I get to keep the original if i choose to do so (his quote "Its your property anyway" ). Unlike some company who do so on exchange basis. Eg I change new parts but most give em back the old parts.
I had a fellow collector whose vintage omega diver watch had broken crown/winding stem. The watchmaker/service center actually go look for it (not easy stuff to do) and managed to get hold the parts from other far end of the world.
@Peter: Just curious, is there alot of indie rolex service center in US?

As far as i know only ONE which can issue an official Rolex warranty and has full access to spare parts.
I have used them twice in the past. Their price is same as RSC. But people like to go to them because of location.
