Like I have mentioned earlier in the Members Introduction section, here are the watches that we have.
Note: Ownership...we (my wife and I) wear all of them, except for the lady datejust and the diamond submariner...those are 100% hers!!!
Honestly hope that the cast grows soon...at this point of time, I will just concentrate on Rollies...

As for the Tag, I have had it since 1996...one that I will always keep as it has stuck by me through thick and thin.
Might consider a Reverso Sun and Moon as well as a Reverso Duetto for her, however these won't be a priority. A pair of Patek or a Lange could well mean that I have reached my idea of a "complete" collection.
Thanks for viewing...cheers.

Apart from the models and makes mentioned...one watch which I am seriously contemplating NOMOS Tangomat Date.
-
:Startled:
now that's quite a serious Rolex collector...
-
quite a number of Rolex you have, i see you have both the Explorer II black and white dial
-
I see half a dozen of Rollies there included 2 Explorers, one "Pepsi", 2 "Subs" and one Datejust. A very serious Loleks collector.
Thanks for sharing the pics., Hans Wilsdwarf.
-
Nice collection.
We have one similarity though... ExpII Polar and Noire both...

Can't wait to see where your collection goes from here.
And thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the support and words of encouragement...
Like I have mentioned before in Members Introduction...I have been dabbling with watches since 2000...However due to some turn of events, had to stop for a few years...now making a more determined and spirited return. (Note: my watch magazines, annuals has a gap from 2005-2011 )'
During my 2000-2004, (apart from a few Rollies) I was fortunate enough to own a Vacheron (simple winding piece) and also a Patek (Ellipse)...was however sold, budget burst!.
My ultimate goal...as far as Rolex is concerned, have at least a piece representing every model (not serial)...but stay away from full gold.
Along the way, 1 Reverso (sun and moon)...maybe a Nomos (a big maybe).
Once that is completed...have at least 1 Patek Phillipe and 1 Lange.
Wish me luck...and thanks for reading this long-winded entry.

Nice collections of rolex there. Beautiful pieces and its just nice for 1 week one different watch . ( at least for your wife ) :-*

I doubt it...date is very important to me, do not see the purpose of owning a chonograph...however will not rule out one if a good deal comes my way...

Nice GMT IIc.
I see a future candidate

ROLEX Datejust Turn-O-Graph...nice dial but surely not in a jubilee bracelet (personal taste :)), prefer an oyster bracelet.
Yesterday, did a list of the Rolex that I wish to own...it came up to 15 pieces (wishful thinking some may say ;D) and a Datejust Turn-O-Graph was not part of it. An uncommon piece it may be but I am already happy with the current datejust I own.
But will never rule one out if a good deal comes my way!
-
i would really like me a TOG on jubilee with white dial and pink gold two-tone....
-
Nice collection
Congrats on your new GMTIIc
Thanks for sharing mate!
-
Hi Hans, thanks for sharing just read today, like the 2 tone sub with gold dial the most..
-
My very first chronograph (a function which I doubt l will ever use ;D), my very first german watch and I think my second dateless watch (first was a PP Ellipse...sold many years ago).
Damage: had to sacrifice my black Explorer II to partly fund the GO. However have already made arragement to get another black Explorer II from a friend...hopefully soon, very soon.
Reason why I bought - do I need to come up with one? ;D damage is already done...suffice to say that a GO is not easily available in the pre-owned market. Good price...with box and cert, (even the merchant's add is still there for all to see)...why not.
Negative point (personal)...this watch has never been on my list of 15 (yep, I actually have a list of watches that I want). Now the list has grown to 16 since I need to get the a black Explorer II too.
-
Nice Glashutte chrono. Caliber 39?
-
Great collection you got there. Nice GO to break the monotony of owning only Rolex's
-
G.MAC and TheHobbit...thanks for dropping a line...yes, it is a Caliber 39 (39-31).
-
nice GO chrono...
I noticed that the older calibres had a different rotor design from the current ones

I have removed the earlier poor quality pics and replaced them with these...still mot that good (I am hopeless with cameras). Hope it will help answer some querries.
So guys, I will not be posting more on the GO...let other watches from other members have their day. Thanks for the support...hope to have new postings (as my cast grows) on this thread soon.
Cheers!!!

Just a quick one...first for 2013

IWC Portuguese Chronograph Automatic IW371401
(http://i1266.photobucket.com/albums/jj521/hanswilsdwarf/_DSC02632_zps2eb193f2.jpg)
First IWC ever...have been eyeing a Portuguese (only series from IWC that appealed to me) for quiet sometime but never made any serious move since focus/priority was on other watches. An entry level Portuguese...not an in-house movement but heavily modified from what I understand. I shall leave the technical stuff to the experts,
First and last IWC...most probably. ;)
-
Share with us what's in your list
Lovely watches you have there
-
There has been a slight change in cast members over the last month...and I have also noticed that the pictures posted earlier are rather haywire for what is supposed to be record/log since coming back into this hobby in 2012.
Note: watches sold since last team photo (thread's first entry) - Lady Datejust, Submariner Bicolor Blue (possible future upgrade), Explorer II Black (has been replaced with newer model)
So as of January 29, 2013...

Very nice collection. Congrats.
I just love the coke GMT. I remember reading on one of the rolex forums sometime back that the company was trying to develop the coke and pepsi versions in ceramic bezel. Anybody has any updates on this?
-
