Hi, of course I'm new here and this is my first post.
I've joined this forum as it is probably the closest watch forum in a geographical sense to me in Australia.
Malaysia and Singapore are probably two of the biggest markets for watches in the world.
My main interests are in Panerai, JLC and some space type watches from the 1970's, as well as making friends who are also interested in watches.
I'm looking forward to meeting some new people who enjoy the same hobby (illness!) as me.
cheers

Thanks for the friendly welcome, I live in Tasmania, the island state to the far south of the Australian mainland. My apologies for not explaining better my location.
Whilst not Asian, I was born in Singapore back in the 1950s, pretty close to Malaysia.
I'm into watching motorcycle racing and of course love the Sepang circuit, especially as they do pre-season testing there for MotoGP.
I have posted a picture of one of my JLCs in another thread.
Thanks again for the friendly welcome.
cheers

That was quite far down south bro. Is there any watch shops there or you had to go to Sydney/Mel/Adelaide to get the watch you wanted?
