Hi all, anyone came across this watch? Seamaster 1948 (http://www.watchalyzer.com/omega-watches/specialities-collection/omega-seamaster-1948-co-axial-london-2012-limited-edition-watch/)
I happen to see this from omega boutique just now and got poisoned straight away by looking at the picture itself. I dun even dare to ask the salesperson to show me the actual watch. Hahaha.
I wondering whether it watch has high collection value. Anyone share their thought will be appreciated. Thanks..

Nice one, I like it
What you mean by 'high collection value'? Price appreciation in the future?
If you are mean by that, then I'm sorry to burst your bubble.
Generally speaking, Omega or most of the other watches, doesn't hold their value well.
Look for other investment options if you want to make money.
Else, just buy and enjoy the watch.

Oops.. I will not want to sell it in future, what I mean is whether this watch worth for collection.

It is every collector dream to have worn a watch for a few years and sold it for a handsome profit or at least at the purhased price. why not , after all it is our hard earn money. The reality is you gonna lose money almost all the time unless u r lucky or have good sense of the trade.
Buy what u like within ur budget. If you don't see urself losing money then keep what you have and stop buying

I think this watch will keep its value.
In 35 years or so. :)
No I'm not joking. By then it will become a vintage and the price will be 10x.
Of course the watch has to be in mint condition at that time.
Most watches takes 20 year or so to be consider vintage and if the design is classic or hold a significant meaning to an event then it might do well. Unless you got lucky or else you will not see any increase in value within 10 years time.
PS I like this watch a lot.
