Title: Armand Nicolet dress watch
Post by: kingcav on May 09, 2012, 08:30:18 AM
Anyone with experience with Armand Nicolet dress watch - L06 or L08 in particular?
http://www.armandnicolet.com/watch-L06-small-seconds.html

Managed to see the watch in person recently. Nice watch and good built quality. Just wanted to get all the sifus view on the reliability, known issues, etc. Admittedly, it is a lesser known brand - thus am not sure if there is any resale value in the future. Input welcome. Thks.

i'm no senior, but I did see the watch in the 'metal' too...very good quality finishing. most of their watches uses ETA movements, but the ones you attached are their own movement dated from the 50's if i'm not mistaken...manual wind...very nice and intricate...

bt price tag  :o

Fell in love with this 5-6 years back hence pulled the trigger back then. So far no issue with the watch - though not much of wrist time

After few months of wearing Armand Nicolet, I must professed that this watch quality and durability is top notch. Although its water resistance is only 50meters , it is definitely at par with Seiko 5 Sports having 100meter water resistance.

I took few hot shower baths with AN on and it is still ok as of now.
