Let's have another give away. I have this watch winder (basic unit, no brand) to give away. Just respond to this post and I will randomly choose a name on Wednesday and ship the winder on Thursday.

Caveat (why? because some smart ass tried to sue me once for a give away):

1. I will cover the shipping cost, the cheapest possible.
2. I will not be responsible if the items gets lost in the mail.
3. I will not be responsible if the item does not work. I have tested it and it works.
4. I will not be responsible for any loss or damage or anything else that may occur in receiving and using the said item.
5. Please note the winder uses 110-120V AC and has the US/ Taiwan type plug.
6. The decision is final.
7. Please, please DO NOT put your name in the give away if you intend to be an ass about it and cannot accept the above.

It is a 4 watch winder with fixed rate of winding.

PLEASE NOTE THE POWER REQUIREMENTS. To have the winder rotate the other way, just switch it off, wait 10 seconds and switch it on again.

looking at the winders posted, how are the watches fixed securely on the holders? do we like use cable ties to hold it in place??  :HammerHead:  :HammerHead:

i'm asking because you didn't put a clause in there that the receiver cannot sue you if their RM100k watch flies off the winder and lands on the concrete/tile floor and smashes into a million pieces..  :o  :o

oopss.. i just saw Clause 4... that should cover it.. hehehehe

The watches are held by the spring action of the 'legs' of the holders. You will need to contract the 'legs' when you for the watch and the 'legs' will expand and hold the watch in place. The rubber part will prevent scratches to the case back. Watchmakers use a variation of the winder I am giving away.

just me being paranoid with electrically operated equipment...

from what i can see, there are no "wings" to hold the watch in place so technically, the watch could slip off? especially so if the winder motor went nuts and started to spin really fast eh??  :HammerHead:  :HammerHead:
