Owners of Dievas Vortex / Focal..
What's your take on the value of the watch in terms of built quality, accuracy, the fricker case resistance against scratches, lume etc?
I thinking of getting one from gnomon but only the Focal is available now and I kinda like the Vortex dial more.

No dievas owners in the house?

No dievas owners in the house?
I just put up a brief review of the Dievas TimeAttack chronograph here:
http://www.malaysiawatchforum.com/index.php/topic,5745.msg59599.html#msg59599
I also have a Dievas Vortex. With a 44mm diameter and 54mm length (lug to lug) it wears larger than the more conservatively sized TimeAttack. The watch case is well engineered and excellently machined from Aerospace (Grade 5) Titanium. One should not expect the same durability and scratch resistance of the proprietary 6Steel from a Titanium watch case. Despite it's large size the Dievas is a relatively light watch, weighing less than 100 grams.
The Dievas Vortex is driven by the reliable ETA 2824-2 caliber. Accuracy is on par with other watches equipped with same caliber. Since the watch is not COSC certified one should not expect chronometer performance.
Overall I would say that the Dievas Vortex is a tool watch being offered at a very reasonable price point. Add to that the 500m water resistance and the Helium escape valve (for saturation diving) and its value proposition increases to a level which is very hard to beat.
I hope that helps you in some way to make your decision.

Great review. Thanks Danny. I like the Vortex / Focal due to the case design. First saw it on the Kobolds but way to expensive. However, still undecided. Maybe I should flip a coin.
