Title: Overseas Purchase

Have a friend going to Paris and Amsterdam later this month? Also another friend coming back from Dubai in July....Good to buy Rolex or Panerai at either of those countries? Or prices are better in Bolehland and Singapore?

Many of my friends did buy rolexes from Dubai; they said its cheaper. Go and ask your friends to do some checking there while you do yours here.

I was told Msia and Kiasuland prices are among the best in the world...for Rollie..

I've been to Amsterdam, visiting watch retailers & at airport (3 Rolex retailers). They have all the popular models displayed upfront unlike in M'sia, hidden behind counter to sell at premium when enquired. They mostly sell at RRP without discount. If lucky, u might be able to find popular model like Daytona.

As for Dubai, same as Amsterdam, giving zero or little discount but still better than selling premium in M'sia.

It's slightly cheaper if you buy in Dubai about 2k less compare to our price here, brought sub there but you have to check more shops if you looking for popular model normally there don't have stock.

If we are buying standard Rolex model, it is cheaper in M'sia, right as they are giving some discount on those normal model.

Anyone of u purchase any luxury brand(Gucci,LV,Prada & etc) item before via online?how much will they charge for import tax?Which option is cheaper-purchase in Msia/online?

most likely easier, faster and cheaper to purchase from a Malaysian parallel importer online?
