Here my new addition to the family even though I am downsizing my collection…. Full set and I got it at a good price for it. Its around 12 years old now based on the date of purchase stated in the warranty paper. Abit old for modern omega but the mid size version of it its hard to comeby. Omega boutique Starhill used to had some of it for around RM8k or 9k before being “disappeared” in the window being replaced by bond and new PO’s.

First impression about the watch.
I had to remove all the available removable links before I can wear it comfortably. Mind you this is the mid-size version of the watch, can’t believe my wrist is that small. Loved the wave dial on the watch. The watch is powered by Caliber 1120 which is a reworked version of 2892 movement instead of slapping the movement and gives it a name for it like some company does eg Tag or Breitling.
I feel the watch was light due to the fact most of the time I wore chronograph watch (I actually used the chrono) which is big and heavy. Loved the watch for its simplicity as no subdial or chrono hand blocking the view. Not to mention lower mantainace cost too man Overall, I liked this watch very much. :Dancing_banana: :Dancing_banana: :Dancing_banana:

Seriously i dunno lo, perhaps still looking for the elusive "first and only rolex" into my collection :HammerHead: :HammerHead:

Many congrats on the 2254. Omega discontinued the watch in 2007/2008, which is a pity because this is one of the most beautiful and legible Seamaster ever. :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

Agree about how legible it is... Btw, it is the mid size version of the 2254. There is no luminous compund at 3 o clock direction while the full size one have it ;D

Befor I moved out of the Omega game, this was one I was aiming for.
1120 movement, easy to service... proven movement.
Saw a Titanium grey dial 41mm and did not feel the urge to jump in.
Good one you got there... enjoy it in good health.
It's the 36mm model?

I guess you'll send it for gasket replacements if you intend to swim with it.

Thanks, I let the shop that bought my flightmaster do the adjustment to my wrist size. I just tell them to "take all of it out" then there it goes. Kinda easy since i had small wrist.

Yup i intend to give it omega or someone who had acess to omega parts to do the job. Lume shot go internet and look for it. Trust me it does glow like a torch.

Yup that the reason why i got the watch is the movement it used. Guess its the last kind before co-ax movement was used on diving watch. Cant believe how light it was when worn it. Used to wear heavy chrono/diver watch

If you intend to keep the watch and use it as your all purpose watch regularly, I guess it is worthwhile to send to Swatch for a full service. But it's wise to wear the watch for a month or two before you do that, first to find out its actaul performance and second, to see if you bond with the watch... as you know servicing at Swatch can be an expensive and time consuming affair. ;) ;) ;)

I contemplated a lot about this model but the one with bigger size.

Classic never goes out of style. The funny thing is there are like 5 or 6 classic seamster look. :o

I still prefer the newer seamaster over the vintage one. Still had that classic look and not to mention smaller size for my small wrist. Tried the classic one and it look wrong on my wrist.

Nice Omega, unfortunately it doesnt fit my wrist, or rather i dont look good with it. I dig the vintage Seamaster too. Nice pick. Have a vintage piece myself a Geneve circa 1970s
