This watch was bought recently and this offer is not a fire sale, hence those looking for a bargain would be disappointed.
The offer is instead targetted at the very few select admirers of Seiko's proprietory ground breaking hi-tech Spring Drive movement with GMT function but are unable to acquire one as this watch is not available anywhere in Malaysia.
It is only available in selected Grand Seiko dealers in US, Taiwan, Hong Kong and recently Europe.
I am putting it up for offer as I'm now targetting 2 other watches for 2012 which require a fair bit of funding.
Furthermore I have a GS SBGC003 which also has a GMT function for my travelling needs.
If there are no takers at the offered price, I will withdraw the offer within this week and keep the watch as an option to wear on weekends.
Condition is tip top MINT. A tiny light scratch on the side of the case is the only sign of the watch having been worn.
Accuracy is +1 sec a week!
Finishing is absolutely perfect. I will lend you a 20x loupe to inspect the watch and display back.
The solid steel 2 part case is milled from a solid block of steel and hand polished using Zaratsu techniques. The back of the case is concaved, curved to contour your wrist perfectly (Visualise the Richard Mille case backs) Absolutely comfortable to wear without the watch shifting around.
The watch is hand assembled by Seiko's top master watchmakers.
Please google and view the official Seiko videos on how an Ananta is made and you'll appreciate the skill and high tech that goes into the making of this watch.
As a added bonus, I ordered a brand new spare original Seiko Ananta GMT high quality croc leather strap complete with a new folding clasp in the event the strap needed replacement eventually. This alone costs about RM 1K and has to be pre-ordered from Seiko Japan with a 2 month waiting list.
Interested parties should surf the net for the selling price of this watch overseas and at the same time take notice of the scarcity of this model. In some countries the watch is sold at up to RM 15K depending on the country and forex rates.
Only serious aficionados of Spring Drive technology need enquire.

Although this is a fairly difficult model to acquire, I am not pricing in any premium, in fact I am now taking a loss inspite of its MINT condition and scarcity. Only 2 offers received which are not close to the asking price.
As I'm out of bolehland tomorrow on a watch shopping trip, it's too late to raise cash by sale of this watch so will use own funds. No reason to sell this in a rush anymore.
Saw this same watch for sale in a neighbouring country. After conversion its so much higher than RM 15K.
