Use to collect them when I was working. Now retired, sold and gave away most of them. My favourite brand is still Maglite. Other brand include Snap-on and Pelican. Most of the touches I use have aluminium body with the execption of the rechargeable torch from Sanyo. It had a plastic (?), poly body. It had to be tough, what with the chemicals the touches were exposed to, hydraulic fluid, oils and grease, use it as a hammer, etc. The only touch I have now are Maglite 2 cell, 4 cell and 6 cell torches.

The one with 4 led's is Ultrafire not Jetbeam. It's about 500 lumens. But now the latest led module that is Cree XML U2 can produce up to 900 lumens on a single LED running on 8.4v 2 18650 li-ion batteries.

Not that often now....last time use it a lot for my 'night game' (something like paintball) ;) even though I seldom use it, but still it comes in handy. I have one in my laptop backpack all the time...just in case. I did stop buying flashlights for about 6 months and now it started again... ;D. They do have forums for flashlight freaks actually. They also have limited edition flashlights too.

Some of the other torches that I have...
From Fokker...

The power switch. This activates the torch.

The torch lights up when the two strips are connected by your fingers or hands or palm.

I am keeping at least two lights in my car...4D Maglite and Olight with traffic wand...all for safety reason.
In my working backpack, wherever I travel, I will have an Eagletac with me. This guy use normal AA battery....
I have a Ultrafire on my bed....
Not really a collector but more of a user....for safety reason.
