Oh...I think the 292 is still available. It was this Wed but at premium pricing. If I am not mistaken, around 40k

Sorry. Was away until Wednesday and the damn internet was down from Wed till today. Is there a better provider out there apart from the monopolistic blood sucker TM?

Anyway, check your PM.

I think that's about the retail price now..and if it's a 292K, it might be the one come with no "Pig" at the 6 oclock..just make sure if that's what you want ;)

Good luck

Yes...292 at 29k if more than all right. Retail price is good cos there are people who are selling more than retail due to the low production for 292.

I was in the AD last week, they have one in hand selling at RM42k.
The price is definitely out, even at the retail selling price of RM28k,there are a lot more better buy then a ceramic PAM183, :P
for instant a Ceramic GMT master II, a deepsea , Zenith, JLC etc etc..
just my 2 cent.

IMO, the debate about ETA vs in-house is a never ending story. Is ETA inferior to in-house? The answer is no. In fact, ETA has proven to be more accurate than a lot of in-house due to the large quantity of ebauches that roll-out from the production everyday. In other words, tested and proven.

I have heard many horror stories of problematic in-house movements, FM Crazy Hour being a fine example where the problems take away the fun of owning such a fine timepiece. In-house movements from AP, JLC and Rolex are proven due to high production quantities. Although I am a huge fan of PAM, I do have reservation on their new in-house movements after hearing issues with the first few batches of 233. An analogy will be to a new car model...problems will exist until resolved in subsequent productions.

Another point to consider is that PAM rework the ETA although not as extensive as IWC. Anything reworked is no longer ETA. A lot of the inferior ETA components are usually replaced with higher quality components according to the specification of the manufacture.

However, with the 292 selling at premium price, I will too be inclined to abandon the idea of buying it at rm42k. Is it collectable? Yes, it is and probably that's the only reason to purchase it. The same reasoning applies to 127, 217 and 249. Otherwise, it does not justify the premium pricing.

erm, i'm not sure if u've bought your piece yet.

but if u go over to p.com, u'll be able to find 2 HK dealers willing to fly to malaysia (in person) to deal face to face

i've heard great things about these 2, and they have impossibly great prices.

go take a look before u consider

nice pick btw!
