Title: Girard-Perregaux Chrono GP ref. 49480
Post by: MCCL88 on December 28, 2011, 11:15:46 AM
Hi Folks,

Good Day!

Whether this GP is using ETA Movement and mineral glass instead of sapphire glass?

Thanks

Mccl

A source on the internet states that the glass is sapphire crystal, and from some of the pics that I've seen from the web, the chrono sub-dial layout seems to closely resemble the DD chronograph module which is usually mounted on the ETA 2892. On second thoughts the movement may also be an ETA 2824-2 which is ETA's own chronograph module piggybacking on the 2892.

Just my 2 cents.
