is it no AD shop in malaysia...?

If you willing to go to johor, just make the trip to singapore. There is an AD there for steinhart. If not, the only other way is to buy it of the internet. AFAIK, there are no ADs for steinhart in Malaysia.

Hi deeply interested in the Steinhart's Pilot. Wish to ask, if I buy online at http://www.steinhartwatches.de/en/Nav-B-Uhr-black,12.html
my price would be without VAT right? I purchased, will Kastam impose any tax for watches? Anyone with experience?
Of course if there is any local seller plz recommend me.
PS. Anyhow, I would like a light brown strap instead, dunno online or local seller is the best choice.

your price will be without VAT. watch in malaysia is tax free.

Watchmanu,
So can I summarize that, I can just order from Steinhart online, can getting the watch arrive at my doorstep without additional "surprise" cost.
I had some unfavorable experience dealing with Kastam, I dun have them time or hassle to deal with them.

I bought my first Steinhart in SG but more choices if you go online.

I've never had additional cost charged to me when i have watches shipped to me from overseas, but some people do... i think thats just a small percentage, due to unscrupulous custom officers, but that can be easily solved.
you can google about buying watch online in malaysia and read people's complains, they have very creative comments about our customs.
But if you are really worried, you can always go to singapore and buy straight from their AD or get a friend to help you buy from singapore (everyone has a friend that has got something to do with singapore)

Thank jefnando for your reply.
I will soon take a plunge on the Steinhart Nav B-Uhr Black (http://www.steinhartwatches.de/en/Nav-B-Uhr-black,12.html). Now occasionally wearing Tissot Visodate for work, but really wanna get something simple and more scratch resistance for daily use.

How is the visodate not scratch resistant?
