Just took some photos for fun yesterday. Prices are crazy in London, not sure if pre-owned goods are entitled rebates or not. But the selection of vintages in one place is eye popping.
I do agree that the policy of Rolex not to rehash their vast catalog of collection to keep the "magic" alive. Beautiful pieces :)
The entrance

The first thing you would see if you came in thorough this entrance is the amount of vintage Omegas in this shop. Never seen so much pristine vintage pieces before. Sort of like a mini museum. Just a small amount of photos that I get to take.

Speedys. There are also tons of speedys that I was unable to take photos of because alot of ppl are crowding around the window display. If you're looking for a pristine condition Darth and Anakin with sharp edges, do drop by.

Ah Burlington Arcade.....
Just a tip, be careful which shop you go in least you find yourself relieved of yourself of some hard earned cash for watches that are somewhat questionable.
Interesting place though. Did you know that the Victoria Cross is made by one of the jewellers in Burlington Arcade?
-
Nice pics as always!
Didnt go in the shop to have a few tries?
How bout picking one up for your birth year?
Didnt know the new diGrisogono is in the shops already. Very unique chunk of metal.

Wow! What an eye opener ! So many watches from yesteryears!
Thanks for sharing, Terence.

Another place to add to the itinerary when in London!
btw, with the selling prices shown, does it mean they also buy it off you at higher prices?
-
Last time I was there, I don't remember the prices being that high! That is some mega inflation going on there. (btw, I was there a year ago, so, not that long) Lots of nice things there for both men and women, Victorian silver, faberge, enamel stuff and of course, plenty of Rolex. They have the stock but are not shy about their prices.
-
Wow... :o :o :o, thanks for sharing...so many vintages, so little budget :Laughing_on_floor: :Laughing_on_floor:
I found this piece interesting, who is this guy in the watch??? memorable of someone???

Nice review terrence! I remember my jaws were wide open and i was like a kid in a candy store when i first visited burlington!
You should check out this place in new bond street, khronometry 1999.
They got some awesome very very limited editions, the likes of cvtos, roths, rj, etc
And the manager is really nice person aswell, i went in and had a look, totally under dressed (it was summer) then he came and ask what can he help, i just said oh im looking for something below £2k, he said unfortunately their cheapest watch starts at £6-7k. I was ready to exit by then, but he started to talk about the watches in his shop with passion, even knowing i couldnt afford them! End up giving me some magazines and catalogues to take home!
I always remember this!
Yet to see this kind of customer service in malaysia. Hopefully someday!
Highly recommended!

YeH passed by kronometry in bond. Peered through their store and not really interested in their wares other than the new Stratos Flyback
They stock mostly expensive toys for Uber rich playboys.

Nice, I know omega actually offer 2 years warrantty on vintage bought there.
