Got to love the cream dial.

I really love the "block" fonts on the
dial bezel

That is indeed gorgeous. Haven't seen it in the flesh, but I just saw a 1655 for sale last week in a shop. Asking price was astronomical!

Sigh.
On closer inspection, the watch is a fake. It is a real Rolex (maybe) but it is wrong for the reference. Basically, it is a white dial Explorer II that has been 'baked' to look yellow.
Apologies to all.
Mods please delete if not appropriate.

Just to highlight, The 'L' on ROLEX should be to the left of the crown, not at the center of the crown. Also the gap between 'SUPERLATIVE CHRONOMETER' and 'OFFICIAL CERTIFIED' must be aligned, i.e. the gap at the same place.

Mucho gracias. Was going to take out the real Polar and make comparison.
Obviously still a rookie in this dept.

Thanks for the tip. Got to learn more before I dare buy vintage.
