my hands is itchy again! it took me months to find 3 good conditions hamilton 917 pocket watches...
yes i bought 3, so i can have a good condition of pocket watch, a converted wrist watch + some parts for future!

problems - all projects have problems, the dial second hand hole not perfectly fit, hands not fit at all, etc. so u need to make decision on modification, search new parts, get a good watchmaker, prepare to pay more...

front. a simple 3 hands watch, small second at 9 with modern size case. simple and nice
the case is expensive but it worth.

Why you always choose to work on the Hamilton project??? I remembered seeing in the old thread sometime back, you also work on similar Hamilton project? Is it easy to source the parts???

Yup, so far I only know Hobbit and Chris are both passionate of customizing/ rebuild the watches, not sure who else in MWF??? And I sometime summon the wrong person too, Christ, "The One" :Laughing_on_floor: :Laughing_on_floor:

1. hamilton easy to find
2. hamilton is cheaper
3. hamilton finishing is very good
and i'm not a watchmaker.... just a project coordinator!
now scratching head for a new project watch, a gmt diver.....

where do you source your dial?
Did you assemble the watch yourself?

I hv no machine n tool
I hv no skill
so I jus a project coordinator!!!!
All parts source online... EBay, wus, hwf...
