Copied from other watch forum. Is this a real PAM (Paneristi SE) or not. If its a rep, then for anyone thinking of joining the darkside have to be very carefull when buying online..buy the seller not the watch as what all senior members advised..

Urrr...i not sure if this is real... usually when have close caseback the movement is not polish or decorated....
but then again, it looks like a spacial model for paneristi.com celebrating their 10th anniversary... has this piece come with certificate?
-
Looks like a rep to me!
-
the watch looks ok to me.
need better photos of the movement to see better.
but polished movements are used for closed casebacks too.
decorated ones before G series also.
the only thing looks funny is the strap.

Seems a bit off but without actually holding it, I cant be 100% certain..here's some shots of my PAM360 to compare it with..

It's a fake but a top one.
The engraving for the running number M112/300 is too shallow (the rectangular box).
The 6 is too close to the L Swiss Made L.
The hour and minute hands lume should be longer (Pre-V) like those on the boutique edition SE, 390, 367, 420, 411, etc.
Since the 360 is a base, I think the movement shouldn't be decorated like the 111, but I'm not sure of this.

Yes, i have the same opinion too ;)

Interesting looking photographs. I have to go with fake. The PAM00360 is fitted with the OPI movement, so it should not have the swan neck. Also as per what ancs88 pointed out the lume should be longer on the hands. The watch looks like it is based on the mock up of the PAM00360 where the lume on the hands is shorter. The logo on the strap does not look right.

Exactly..the dead giveaway is the presence of the swan neck on the movement..OP1 has no swan neck regulator..why I felt it was off initially is the DLC...it's almost black in the photo while the 360's DLC is more towards pencil lead rather than the darker shade in the photos. Another point is the buckle. The OEM pre-V style buckle is sharper and more angular in its shape compared to the one in the photo...if you look closely, the fonts are also different...

(copied from kuvar***watch.com) stumbled upon the site when googling on panerai watches reviews/info's. I was shocked how good the reps are nowadays. I was thinking there are few online sellers offering a very2 good deals on pam watches that did not have any papers (missing/missplaced/lost/ while moving).. :HammerHead:
I opened this thread just to build awareness among new MWF or even newbie in general like myself. "Buy the seller not the watch" and do self-due diligence. Better still buy from AD or from trusted MWF members
