Plenty of these around but I just got mine, so here's some pics. Apologies for the pic quality as they were taken using my phone.

Something to keep me company while I save up for that 14060.
On the whole, VERY PLEASED with my watch! It definitely surpassed all my expectations. A bit late getting on the boat but better late than never eh? Love the brushed bezel and it doesn't look too big on my hand either (despite some people saying that it is not suitable for small wrists). This is probably going to be my daily beater. Well, won't put in a review as it has been done to death, but.... ORANGE POWER!!!!!!!!!

Just one quick question. The rotor sounds quite loud on mine. Is that normal? Also, the links are a bit squeaky. Can anyone please help me out on how I can oil them? Sorry, still a newbie to watch collecting. Thanks!
-
Nice catch , you mean the loud sound when you are shaking it or on still position? if you shake, then it is normal. As for the links, squeaky sound, don't really understand what do you mean? Perhaps you can elaborate more...
Wear for good health, well, it is good to see more and more Seiko fans
P/S : I cant help to notice you have a fair skin ;D, don't worry, I am not gay, just a compliment

Congrats, Hellkite.
I'm also considering an Orange Monster (but with the rubber strap) while saving up for my grails.
Could you pls pm me the damage & where you got it?
Thanks & enjoy your monster.
Take care, Ciao!

Hi Siodee, don't worry, won't run away from you. haha.. Just naturally fair. Let you admire more if I can make it to the next gtg. Now that sounded totally wrong.... :o :o :o
Haha.. Anyway, the squeaking sound I'm taking about is similar to an old iron gate, when you swing it open and close, though not so loud. You know the "eee, eee" sound when you open a door that hasn't been oiled at it's hinges for some time? Hope you can understand what I mean.. haha..
Thanks for the welcome! Ya, I may get a rubber strap or Nato to change later. But for now, loving the fantastically solid feel of the steel bracelet! Excellent job Seiko did on this.
P/S: Have always worn a Seiko as my daily beater. An old quartz chrono that my dad gave me about 8 years ago I think.

PM's sent!

PM received, Thanks!

Is it due to the clasp is big and you took out the links, cause ideally the bracelet should be in curse shape, and wrap around your wrist, if the link is not curve around and the edge contacting each other, that might be where the "yee yee" sound. You can do some experiment by putting back the links and get yr frens with bigger wrist to try it on.
Just my 29 cents
-
That might be the case.. my wrist is too small but still love the watch and bracelet. Maybe I'll change to a NATO soon. Sent it back to he regulated. Was running 3 hours fast, a DAY!!! Thanks for your 29cents siodee.. never thought of that..
-
3 hours fast, are you sure? per day or per week? but that is quite weird, you mean 3 min is it?
-
Nope.. I honestly mean 3 hours fast a day. Was pretty shocked myself. Never seen or heard anything like that before..
Ya, can go back early, since my watch says so! Haha!

Most of the ADs carry it, do some leg works.
Price [discounted price removed]
-
Ya, most shop carrying Seiko will have it.
-
Seiko is in my opinion the most value 4 money brand.. But my seiko 5 also runs 2 fast but not 3hours per day hehe... Sorry to say that now that you got poisoned.. it will not cure and more exp watches will come along :Blue:
-
Thanks guys. I have just got mine for [discounted price removed], wouldn't mind paying more for this monster!
Btw, I have ordered a few 20mm Nato straps online for it. It should fit I reckon?

Measure the width of the original strap at the lug.
You will get the correct measurement for your NATO strap.
