Difficult to login over the last 2-3 days
-
Been having difficulties trying to login recently ............ dunno why! Was the site being hacked, or ikan bilis login being banned? ???
Any other members facing similar problem?
Just now encountered this as well... after a while it came back to normal again...

encountered the same problem as well. Sometimes i get an error message like the site is being blocked. Also having difficulty posting and the threads wont even update.
-
Same here, but I tot it's Streamyx that's the problem.
Then I realise the update for 'show unread post' was a bit erratic.
Ahhh...MWF, hard to live with & almost can't live without! :HammerHead:
Take care, Ciao!

I tot i was alone...

Yeah, sometimes get server busy. Joys of being popular?

Yes, i'm having same problem when i try to login into this webpage from here (Abu Dhabi) for the last few nights.

Ya, me too. I tot I was the only one facing such problem logging in.
Or is it the server dun allow me to go in.

The server's been experiencing more downtime than usual. The long term average availability (since 2006) is 99.85% which is fine.
However so far this month the server has experienced 5 outages totaling 7% downtime which is way higher than the long term average.
I have contacted the hosting company about this matter and hopefully they will get their act together.

Thank you, Danny.
So it is just outages, not from hackers/virus attack.
Thank goodness for that.

Thank you, Tuan Administrator Sir!
Take care, Ciao!

Fortunately, due to the relatively small community, MWF is not large enough to attract the attention of unfriendly parties on the internet.
The hosting company replied, stating the reasons for the recent outages as:
i) The server was undergoing a long RAID rebuild and ran into some issues causing the machine to reboot.
ii) Following that they had to perform emergency maintenance and swap drives on the server.
iii) They claim to have resolved the issues with this server and hopefully things should revert to normal from now on.
Let's keep our collective fingers crossed.

Thank You again for the clarification, Danny.
Yes, lets keep our fingers crossed.
