Hi there gents, hope everyone has been doing great. Just wondering how many of you have watches that no matter what, will always be with you.
It isn't the most expensive nor the most prestigious, but my Orient is a definite keeper. I'd flip everything I have save this beauty. It was a surprise graduation present from my girlfriend and will be the first watch I wear in court. ;D

Let's hear your stories!
All the best,
Gavin

Mine is also a graduation present i obtained when i graduated with my LL.B. The difference is it is a gift to myself . I plonked 22 years of saved red packets and pocket money into this one. Currently on it every single day.

Another one is a piece which i obtained a year after i sold off almost all my other watches. It has always been one of my grail together with the Deepsea. A 'safe queen' for the moment until i rotate it with the Rollie.

woah waht happened?! deflected a bullet?

for me it's this watch... wore it for my ROM.
Although I do not wear it anymore and always have this urge to trade it in for a Daytona, somehow I am scared that I would regret if I browse through my wedding photos.
It's sitting quietly on the tray nowadays and I just wind it up once a while. :-[

Sentimental pieces?
Unfortunately I have none.... yet...
I don't know why but I tend not to get emotionally attached to objects.
I might feel the want one minute and a couple of months down the line... sien liao... need to find new one...
Watches that have been with me long enough to mean something is either stolen or damaged beyond repair...
But I am currently trying to find new sentimental pieces... the one my Dad is wearing now will definitely be a keeper... although I bought it but I know he's proudly wearing it and telling everyone that his son bought it for him... ;D
The watch in my Dad's possession is no safe queen so it will be worn and made history with... that's something I will cherish...
As for my watches... I have no sentimental feelings with any of them.... yet...

2 months? thought it was 3 months :Laughing_on_floor:
unless you start queing an hour before opening time..all nice ones would be "sapu-ed" already.
missed out on 2 APs and a Tag items were sold the moment the door opened. walked in at exactly 12.30 after seeing new items posted on their site the nite before and saw the lady already writing up the receipt for a customer.
