Hi there guys, great to meet fellow like-minded watch enthusiasts! A little bit about myself, my name's Gavin (as you can probably tell from my username).
I've just completed my Bar in the UK and am preparing to come back home to Malaysia and start working. My interest in watches runs the gamut, but it now focuses mainly on Japanese watches (although I do have a Tissot knocking about ;))
I'm also a member at www.thewatchforum.co.uk, where I go under the same moniker. Hope to have a good time here getting to know everyone!
All the best.
Gavin

welcome to the forum bro and enjoy your stay here. If you love watches then this forum is a very dangerous place to be. :Laughing_on_floor: Am going to do the Australian Bar soon having graduated recently from the UK.

Thanks for the warm welcome gents.
Haha, not yet a lawyer, just waiting to start chambering in KL but fingers crossed, by this time next year, I will be one!
Great to meet you guys and I'll see you around the forum!
All the best,
Gavin

Welcome back to "Truly Asia" country, time to contribute... and Enjoy yr stay here, do join us for the upcoming GTG
P/S : Well, we already have medical personnel with PP, cleaner with Rolex, wonder Legal will be on what preference??
-
A doctor with a Patek Philippe and a cleaner with a Rolex? :o
Soon-to-be lawyers like me tend to just go with a Citizen or Seiko unless we come from money. Lawyers in practice for a few years... that's a different story (I spotted a really nice IWC Flieger on the wrist of my former pupil-master ;))
Right now, the cost to change a strap on a high-end watch would probably bankrupt me :-\ The GTG sounds like good fun, will definitely try and make it if I can
All the best,
Gavin
