The barricade models are widely available in Malaysia.
But if you got it at tenniswarehouse and at the current exchange rates, it's cheaper.
Retail for above 400 if I remember correctly.
-
hanz, i got mine for USD142.95 (inclusive shipment) = RM436.04
Is this cheaper than KL price?

Yeah it's cheaper.
Barricade is considered Adidas' higher end tennis shoe.
Used to be a higher one called Adidas a3 but that has been discontinued.

To my knowledge, Asics brand is good.
But most of the brands out there like Skelchers, Brooks, Nike, Adisas etc which have high cushioning running shoes will suffice, IMO.
-
Asics is a good brand.
But i would prefer Mizuno.
It is quite costly though

There is no definite "best" shoe for everyone.
All of us are built differently with difference posture, running style, running gait, foot types and the list goes on and on........
Trial and error and also knowing ur foot type is a start.
For me, I prefer the least support and softest sole.
-
Furthermore, back and knee problems while running might be due to ur running posture

Yes, thats true, no best running or jogging shoe.
Like what terence pointed out, depends on individual built structure. Also each individual foot structure is also different, some pronated, others supinated etc. Some has "flatfoot". So the next best thing is determine one's foot structure and look for a pair of high cushioning (or for some, mid-chshioning) shoe and the important thing is the shoe must be comfortable and be fitting to one's feet.
