Saw the threads in TRF, some members took delivery of their pre-ordered 216570.
Wonder when would it reach our shores over here and also how long would we actually see one on the shelves. Anyone knows how much is the rumoured retail in MY?
Also anyone here secretly placed their name on the pre-order list with their ADs? Don't forget some indepth reviews and shots when it comes in

Heard from a SA is selling at around rm25k
-
Malaysia usually earliest we will get to see the new stuff is end of Sept or Oct/Nov time frame.
-
wow! 2c price range. gosh wonder if it'll go the Milgauss and Heritage Chrono route @ burning brightly but fizzles out quickly.

Confirmed prices are EUR6150...
Love to have one but at those prices... still hoping for an unexpected windfall... :Praying:

i think those prices include VAT. watches here are tax-free so should be cheaper. RM25k sounds a bit on the high side.

MRSP are standard across the world and has the taxes all factored in. 25k sounds like the correct equivalent.
This is to prevent copious amount of cross border purchases and leaving the local ADs dying. That is why whenever a country's currency suddenly dips...a increase in price is imminent to par up the retail price with other country with stronger currency.
With the large sales volume of watches in Europe being sold to Asian customers nowadays with stronger currency, I would not be surprised with the high retailed being slapped on the 216570.
The Danish AD i went to told me that they can't stock enough rose gold VC to satisfy the China tourist' appetite. That is why they have only 1 VC on display in the whole store.

although it's a different watch but my Sinn and a Speedmaster is 42mm. You can try it on the size for estimation

Even 40mm 116610 looks bigger compare to 16610 bcos of the thicker lugs make it more squarish. now 42mm + thicker lugs will make it look bigger hence I wonder would it sit well on my wrist btw spot any PP in Denmark?
-
at RM25k each i buy both black and white. So far i've seen are nearer to RM31k each.

there's a black dial selling at the SG forum....

there's a black dial selling at the SG forum....
at another ridiculous price!!
-
Well it is expected. If you want to be the first to have it, pay the price. Same happened when the PAM00380 was released and it will happen again when the PAM00372 is finally released. Same also, as highlighted by terrenceterrence, the Milgauss, the Ceramic GMT Master II and Submariner Date. Even the Tudor Chrono Heritage.
-
saw one and was offered to me at a few hundred ringgit above list price today but having seen it in the flesh, i can sadly say that i dont like it that much. Am disappointed with the font on the bezel (I love the fonts used on the ceramic bezel of rolex) and because it is thin, it doesnt wear much bigger than the 40mm maxi case. The dial and orange GMT hand however is absolutely sublime.
-
hi G.MAC,
did you see it at the AD in The Spring? I asked last week and was told they'll receive stock this week. i must see them in the flesh before deciding.
-
No. A friend brought a piece which he sold in from Singapore. So he let me have look at it first having known how much i was looking forward to own one. Now i am thinking a little bit longer having seen it in the flesh.

AD at Kuching quoted price at roughly RM26k before nego. I can wait till price settles before buying if i really like it. no reason to pay more than MSRP or no discount. i don't need it so badly.
