Title: Date change instruction for 7750
Post by: siodee on September 08, 2011, 12:09:19 PM
I read the instruction manual for the Damasko watch, then this statement puzzle me. Does it make any sense???

"Please make sure that the watch does not change Day/Date at 12am, but at 12pm" How do I do that????

I capture the picture of the instruction manual...

it means you should not manually change the date at 12am. if you want to do it, do it at 12pm.

if you're not sure whether the watch is at 12am or 12pm, manually move the time forward until the date changes (12am) then set your watch to 12pm, then set your date.

Arrrh, I got what you mean now, thanks, cause I was  thought we should change the date like Jacky said 6:30, or within 4 to 8 range for hrs and min hands. Never cross my mind that can change date with hrs and min hands at 12pm. Thanks...

we "humans" including "ME" always thought that we are well verse with the watch function and etc, that why we always put aside the watch manual and the box once we obtained the grail watch.  ;D

May be I am exceptional, I normally check thorough of the watch I receive, include the outer box, inner box, the strap, the card, the manual, before I start operate the watch.

I touch, feel, smell (if it is pre-owned, better clean/wash first before smell it, cause you wouldn't want the sweat odor). Then find any dent, scratch if any, and get the watch operate properly before I wear it on my wrist. That is just me  ;D

P/S : still a WIS, but Wacko In Service  :Laughing_on_floor:

my ball hydrocarbon and fortis gmt both manuals stated do not change quick date/day adjustment at between
10 pm and 2 am as it could damage the date mechanism.
