Title: what is the ratio?
Post by: rockdaman on September 08, 2011, 11:30:49 AM
What is ratio between the highest-valued of ur car and watch.

Example:

Nissan Sylphy 2.0 : Rolex GMT Master IIc
115k : 24.5k
1:5

*Please follow the above example so that we can get a better view between each user.*

P/S: Why only compare single unit? It is because at one time you can only drive one car and wear one watch under NORMAL enviroment :Laughing_on_floor:!

Comparing retail kah?

should be the amount u have paid for so that we can know how much a person willing to spend on a watch compare to a car.

Nothing with driving a Proton and wearing a Patek for example.
Just shows that persons priorities is somewhere else and does not place too much emphasis on the car they are driving.

I once saw a cheap single storey link house (not even corner lot) with the people driving 1 Merc S-Class/E-class, 1 Mitsu Evo7, 1 BMW 3-series and 1 Mazda RX-7.

Nothing (wrong) with driving a Proton and wearing a Patek for example.

I think that fella's house surely got $ signs spraypainted in red.

Link house ok liao lor...
In KK, got ppl stay in government built low cost housing that needs to be lottery picked to buy.
And yet in the parking lot, there's BMW X3 or X5, Prado King, Ninja Super King (dun know if west malaysians know that this is the nickname for the Toyota Land Cruiser/Lexus LX), Merc E or S class.
Memang hebat lah... but understandably so because the general human perception is when someone comes to talk business in a flashy car, it does add credibility.
You can't drive your house out right?

I agreed with the above comments.
Different people, different priority. Some people stay at a big and spacious bungalow, but they drive Proton. Some stay at normal terrace house but own Merc or BMW.

i think this

combine watch value : combine car value

only can tell u the priority of such person

some ppl hv > 100 watches... all around rm10k
but he has rm150k camry....
so this survey still show he has less priority on watches.....

what's the results so far?

1. are you asking the current market value of the car and watch or price when new ??

2. are you asking total value of car(s) vs. total value of watch(es) ??
