Title: Grandfather Clocks
Post by: brolex on September 06, 2011, 08:29:23 PM
Spotted this longcase over Raya Week. The  chime has a sweet timbre, and rings loudly every quarter-hour. I don't know how well it keeps time.

the face says, "Junghans, 12 Jewels, Westminster Super de Luxe."

I'll try blowing up the image tonight

The chimes bring me back to my early childhood... Would scare the bejesus out of us cousins.

It's almost impossible to find info on Junghans longcases - what do you know about 'em, Zitan?

eg. are the rods gold? cos I want to go to pajak gadai if they are hehe
