Title: Rolex Deep Sea Sea Dweller

Hi all,
I am a new member based in Australia, but will be travelling to Malaysia soon on a work trip. I am looking for a new Rolex Deep Sea 116660 (Preferably from an Authorised seller) and am interested in the retail price and any export discounts that might be available to me buying in KL and taking back to Australia. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

watches are not dutiable and also there's no sales tax for 'em too in malaysia.

can go to rolex official website to search for ADs

Thanks for the advice. Do you or any other member know the Malaysian retail price of the Rolex DSSD, and whether I would be likely to get a deal if I was to attempt to haggle the price down slightly?

Swing by Kota Bharu, Kelantan. there's a watch shop there that has the best prices for Rolexes in South east Asia.


This is one for the forum - why a watch shop in Kota Bharu? It takes a serious watch hound to know the answer.

I was told that you can get the cheapest brand new Rolex there. Never tried it though.

I don't endorse any shop, so I'm sorry if I won't even PM the name of the shop.

There is only ONE shop that stocks upscale watches in KB. Shouldn't be too hard to find.

Those in the know would know they are one of the top rolex sellers (at least in Malaysia).

A search in rolex website for AD in malaysia will easily found this shop name. I would plan to get my frist lolex there when the time has come :)
