Dear MWF sifus,
I was wondering if there is any comment on Cartier Pasha C Automatic watch (35mm)?
Thanks in advance!
-
What kinda comment are you looking for?
Gotta be specific bro.
-
It doesn't seem to be under any MW forumer's collection, and i am just wondering why...
-
It is too small for my wrist. Is it for ladies?
-
I think this watch is worn mostly by ladies (although it is a gent's watch).
Not a bro btw :Laughing_on_floor:

Honestly i dun like the design. I prefer Santos XL. Even so, it would b in the lower section of my list.
-
Agree with sshark. Anyway the size is too small for my taste. Prefer santos 100.
-
My wife once owned this cartier pasha.
It was supposed to be man watch, but too feminine when I tried it on my wrist.
The case is thick but somehow the attractiveness is not here. After wearing it for some time, we flipped it for a cartier santos (ladies auto).
Overall, it was a fine watch...for ladies.

Very interesting the way dc manage to save the day on this thread :Laughing_on_floor:
I have seen the Santos when I was back and I think it definitely looks nicer if it is a cartier you were looking for
That's my opinion, if you like this one then all good here too
-
just got bitten by the cartier bug too! but the price of the astrotourbillon is :o :o :o
-
I like the case shape, signature Cartier.
I think they have a 40mm or 42mm version out now. Although i only seen it on strap.
-
Thanks for the inputs!
Actually I was considering between pammy and cartier pasha... But i found that my wrist is too small to accomodate a pammy (due to its thickness)... :Blue:
-
You can always get the 40mm pam......
I am considering this as well on my wish list..

Yes, tried the 40mm also. Looks huge on my wrist... I think it could be due to the fact that I am not used to the thickness... Will try and look for 049 (white dial) to try on...
David, which model are you eyeing at?
-
Well, if the 40mm pam is still too big for your wrist....ever tried the explorer 1 (36mm) or the airking? (34mm)
There's a review on airking at the review section.
BTW, there is an explorer 1 on sales at the sales section...............
Or if you want a date watch, check out the rolex date...15200

Yes buy an Explorer-1 from me :Laughing_on_floor:

Actually, I am quite green when coming to the Pam model.
But then, I was eyeing the white dial / 40mm / auto with date...what's model is that?
(lazy to wind everyday...lah)

Not sure about the Pasha but Cartier itself has a long history in watch making. Sadly, I guess history is all it has, but things are changing. The Santos was the first wristwatch for men. PP created the first wristwatch but it was a ladies watch.
The Brazilian aviator Santos-Dumont found that using a pocket watch while flying was troublesome, so he complained to Louis Cartier about it. Cartier created a watch (square) with a leather band to be worn on the wrist. The watch is probably fitted with a movement by Edmond Jaeger (?).
