I have a fairly small wrist. Measure it and it is just 6.5". So far the biggest watch is my small collection is my Tag Heuer Carrera Chronograph which is 41mm. Bigger than this I feel uncomfortable ;) Even IWC 3717 Pilot Chronograph ( 42mm ) feel big. Maybe due to its small bezel design.
-
53mm. I tried 51mm and it was just nice. Never tried 53mm though..
-
Big watches are so 2005.
I think they look especially sad on small Asian wrists.
-
dont just look at the size of the watch....
dont just look at the wrist size of ur hand....
wider wrist can carry bigger watch despite thin.... (but of course a big round wrist look better)
the lugs design of a watch actually determind a big watch sit well on your wrist....
shorter the lugs better for smaller wrist....
flat lugs need bigger and wider wrist to carry....
-
Biggest I have tried, 44mm square and after a while I dont like it. Lesson learn, always try on yr wrist first before you buy.
-
I have tried sizes ranging frm 38mm to 44mm and most of them sit well.
I have one 45mm behemoth of a dress watch coming in and hopefully it will sit nicely...

My wrist is at 6.5- 6.7 ,
If the watch is 44mm and all black PVDd and u r a tall guy (5'10" and above) ...i think it should blend nice ;D
Well that's what the sales girl at one of the AD told me ... hehe
But yes ... All black watch on 44mm doesn't look that too big at all .

I too have puny wrist and my biggest watch is G-Shock Mudman, around 53mm+?

Im 1.87m and have wrist around 6.7, and 42 mm is the biggest id go for.
I find the sight of big watches dangling on skinny wrist a joke. Its like wearing shoes or clothes that are way too big for you ;D

I have a 7" wrist and my biggest piece is 47mm. Smallest piece I have is 42mm. I am lucky to have a flat and big enough wrist surface to wear any watch between 44mm to 47mm.
-
i love 47mm...that is the ideal case
on average i do 44mm and above
I have one G which is 42mm....and used to have Orca and Samurai at 42mm both dont feel comfortable on my big wrist...so now it safe in the hand of new owner
Biggest i have is 51mm...dont mind doing 52mm but that is the max....dont think i can do 60....hhahaha

I think big watch is a trend nowadays and it will stay as a trend for quite sometime. I can see teenagers these days wearing big watches. I guess it depends whether you are comfortable with it or not :)
-
how do you measure your wrist ? i never measured mine till just now...pull out a rope, wrap it around my wrist....take it out and pull out steel ruler and measure....huh , mine is like 6" 9 and half.close to being 7". No wonder i can get away with 51mm easily as compared to your guys....
A few years back i guess my wrist is smaller. I had a 44mm and it looked big on my hand, nowadays, 44 seem on the small side whilst 47mm look normal. 51mm is ok.
Guess i have quite a big wrist ? should cut down my diet....hahahahah
-
No way bro....keep growing! If not cant wear 60mm PAM !
