PAM 279 is a GMT?
312 on last check is SGD9850
351 SGD10650
go to the panerai site and put a request for a catalog. they would include a price list when they send it to you.

are you talking about 297?
it's SGD 11000 retail

Hi Guys...
I'm very new here , just wondering if its cheaper to buy the Panerai's from KL, japan italy or SG? I'm heading over to Japan next week for a week and then to Italy . Just wondering if you guys know which continents I can get the best deal? As in country?
tq .

John, this is very subjective. The model you want might not avail in the country that give you highest tax rebate. Not sure what the % of sales/govern tax in Italy bur Spore is 7% and Jpn is 5%. Just grab it If the price is not much different (<5%) just my 2 cents

PAM 241

US - $8000
PAM 244
MY - RM23900
US - $7900
my advise, ditch the 40mm and go for a 44mm.
i have many friends who thought their hands were too small and went for a 40mm, less than 6 months they come to me with tears in eyes. in the end u will want the full size 44mm.
cos u always feel that u have a small pam and u will always oogle at the bigger one on your friend's wrist :)

missed this post, thought i'd help.
u can pretty much forget about KL if u are going to the ADs, cos discount is low and stock is even lower.
Japan is pretty well known to be pricey unless u go for preowned.
Italy u may have a good chance what with lower EURO and a VAT rebate. But most importantly is their stock is pretty good there. try to find an AD rather than a boutique, so u can negotiate on price.
As SG, the best is still the grey dealers or private sellers who bring in watches from europe.
hope that helps.

For Panerai it is better to try both 40 & 44mm sizes. As for me since I have a small wrist, 44mm looks a bit clumsy ;D but I did try the new PAM 369 42mm Radiomir Chrono, it looks good with my wrist size mainly due to its slimmer design ( not as thick as Luminor design ).
Choose the ones that you are comfortable with as you will be paying a lot for these watches :)

but i always think the only 40mm pam worth going for, are the ones with the "exotic" movements IMHO
e.g. Zenith EP powered PAM74 or my fave GP alarm gmt PAM98 (well actually it's 42mm to be precise but who's counting)
Always hate the idea of having a small movement in a big case... ie a thick skull with a small brain
Again, in the end it all boils down to preference. Buy what you like/want and not what someone tells you to.
