Why look around for parts when you can just easily send in Swatch group for service?

I just only serviced in 2008/09 in summit by an omega watchmaker... thru inspection by other watch maker they advise to just replace the crown..
-
Then just send it in to replace the crown, not too hard to do anyways.
Or ask that watchmaker to buy from Swatch if they sell it.

To replace the crown, normally it comes in a set - crown and tube. IMHO.
The run away thread of the crown would have definitely damage the tube as well....no?

Did you actually ask the cost before?
I actually bought a buckle from Omega previously, everyone "heard" it was expensive. But when 1 day i just pop in the boutique and ask, wah....not as crazy price as everyone said it was. So i just bought it there and then.
Well diff people diff ways of doing things i guess, all we can do here is offer you alternatives.
