Title: MWF presents: Watch photography skills sharing w/ "lanatir"

As we all know by now our member "lanatir" aka Kelvin is by far one of the best watch photographer in MWF.
He has graciously agreed to share his skills and techniques on how to shoot watch photos with our forum members. :thumbsup:

Since this is a free sharing session by Kelvin we would like to keep this first time to a smaller group (5 members). At least one forum mod will be there so the list of 5 does not include our names in there.
Below are some criteria should you decide to join, if there any any to add i will update.

1) specific to people with ability for tilt/swivel flash (can be DSLR or prosumer cam)
2) bring a favourite watch to shoot
3) bring a microfiber cloth to clean their watches
4) bring a laptop with photoshop (optional)

Please make sure you are free on that date should you choose to join and only confirmed attendance will be allowed to join. NO "tentative". ;D

Date: Sat 16th July
Time: 2pm until everyone decides to leave :P
Venue: Petaling Jaya, Selangor. (Actual location to be disclose to confirmed participants only)

Thanks, I just dont want to waste the seat with the compact camera, hopefully I got mine before the Professional training  :Praying:

Say i use 12mp Nokia N8 phone camera and 10mp Samsung NVD HD 24 compact camera...both has lots of function (the samsung has control on tons of thing)....can i join ?????? my lens may not be good but it is all about skill aite...???

the event is about flashwork primarily. the items that you mentioned will be unable to perform accordingly as you will be unable to control the direction of the flash.

I just want to thank Kelvin for his generosity in sharing his watch photography experience with us.
It was a true eye opener for me and I can only say one thing after last Saturday's session, ie Kelvin is a real master in this field.  :thumbsup:
