day 1, wake up 330am to catch the 630am flight.....
my fren get some1 to welcome me at the guiling airport at the vip room.... the airport is so small....
then we were invited for a buddha jump over wall lunch... i wish i can hv 4 stomach...
after meetings, check into this hotel eva inn

the view is great... its a joy to travel along this road

were treated a lunch in this r&r restaurant... very famous for its fresh water river fish....
fish is freshly catch... but the cooking is :thumbsdown:, dun like its weird taste... except the famous fish, other dishes is fantastic!
but the fish is the most expensive dish
5 hours drive.... checking in to this hotel

day 3
this hotel buffet breakfast is so so... but i kinda like their beef noodel

nanning is a great city, whole city been planted with mango.... but unluckily not been treated with mango. not in season?
but alot of these tree, which i was told it is hard to plant here in malaysia

day 4
after been treated a great lunch in the rural area, we were bring to catch the train ====> guilin

6 hours plus on the hard seat train is suffering....

reach guilin around 8pm++, after check in hotel, i'm going for this

best dish for my whole journey... the meat is so sweet n crunchy..... the bones also edible... really good.
head part boiled tofu soup... 1st time i so njoy the fresh water fish head

day 5, cau.... with the feeling of i want to visit guilin again.... a city with great mountain!!! bye bye

Great report as always Chris!
So nice to see China still has many lovely countryside. Even Old building alongside the new.
Wish my boss will send me to places like these but i guess its very tiring as well.
The food you said was not nice is it because the taste not suited to Malaysian or just awful?

Wow, wear yr Ball to Guilin :thumbsup: and Guilin is famous with the scenery, is it hot there?

Dun get me wrong, the food is good. Jus that when u r invited to eat the same thing too many times, bit boring...
Jus prefer to try som other fd is permitted
it's hot... I sweat all the days there when ever I stay outdoor
6am + also hot already!!!
Tiring for sure... But I still very njoy... I woke up 6am to walk to park while my colleagues still dreaming
I open my eyes to look at windows n chat with driver while my colleague sleeping at the back
everytime late afternoon when my boss n colleague go bac to rest at hotel I will explore places nearby hotel

U apparently missed the rivers & streams of Guilin, claimed to be the best in China. ;D
China is still my favourite holiday destination considering the affordability,...but RMB is rising. Better visit more places early.

I would like to boat there. I would like to watchbthe liu san Jie show...
But time is so short...
