thanks guys. yes we did chat with PSM. the AM watches are working protos. the Thalassa, i believe, is a production piece (though I may be wrong).

Great photos as usual. Thanks for sharing.

I had a nice chat with the Antoine Martin CEO Bruno Jufer and the master watchmaker himself Martin Braun. I think Scott took some pics with his spanking new X-100. Hopefully he can find some time to post the pics here. Learnt quite a bit about the new movement AM 39.001 created by Martin Braun. I am intriqued by the large diameter base of the movement and particularly fascinated with the upsized 17.5mm balance wheel. Watching the balance wheel going through its fluid motion at 18000bph is hypnotic and therapeutic.

It's a good read and below are some pictures highlighting the ADAS (Aerodynamic Amplitude Stabilisation) system and the High Performance Escapement (HPE):

Amazing how you can take such good pics at low light yesterday. :thumbsup:

Glad to finally meet and chat with my absolute fav independent watchmaker PSM. ;D
He was such a friendly person to approach and showed us everything and brought out his laptop for to show us some technical drawings.
Can confirm his Thalassa is a production model.
Even showed us the ladies model, so Jacky.....wait for your pic  :P, how does the misses like it?

For Antoine Martin, great to meet another legendary watchmaker and cool story about the sunrise/sunset watch :Laughing_on_floor:
His new movt was really spectacular with the large balance wheel.
To me kinda risky going from the price point of his previous brand to super high end now.
If not mistaken production numbers for now is 50pieces this year and slowly increasing.

Didnt have too much time to look at other brands as we all were abit hungry by then :Laughing_on_floor:

Thanks again so much to Henry of Khronos for inviting us.

The watches will be exhibited at the dealer for the next week, so any members interested to check it out can go over.

I shall remember the day when Peter finally meets Peter  :P

Lanatir, thanks for the photo, I love Antoine Martin Quantieme Perpetual, especially the "AM/PM", immediately can spot it. Looking at the photo, simple and elegant  :thumbsup:

Danny, movement AM 39.001, was it in the Antoine Martin or Marin Thalassa photo, or both?

just to add to the confusion, the watchmaker in Antoine Martin is Martin Braun  :D

And to add on further to that, Antoine is the name of the investor in Martin's new company.

Thanks Scott for the pics!

- Too bad the 1000hrs displayed is a prototype. On a built to order basis only. Would be badass to see it getting wound!

I'm gonna go back to see the exhibition again tomorrow afternoon if anyone wanna meet up.
Didnt get much time to look through everything that night.
