Thanks for the warm welcome but please I'm here also to learn from you guys as I'm not that long in the true watchmaker industry. My experience before was with Jewellery. I joined Bulgari in 2001 and moved to Cartier in 2004. At Cartier I fell in love with watches as Cartier had their CPCP range. CPCP or Collection Privee Cartier Paris had a few Complication watches, thats when I start to tinker around with their watches but when Cartier shut down CPCP ,I sort of didn't have any serious watches to play around. So when IWC offered me a job at the boutique I grab the chance and yes! I had a good sifu ,his name is Au Kok Weng. I can say he is a walking book of Horology and please I'm no where close to him. He's now overlooking the Watch Boutiques in Resort world Sentosa , Singapore. Once again thanks to Danny who introduce me to MWF.

Welcome, Sani.
Great to have a IWC blue blood as our consultant.
Really like the MR. Encountered WG version 1st time at Starhill AD 5 yrs ago. Very good offer then, regretted didn't grab it, coz' can't decide bet this & then discontinued PP AC PT version. Returned the following wk, committed to get it then, but, ......... gone! :HammerHead: Had to settle for the latter then.
Re-encountered it in RG or YG version last yr at the boutique, the price had shot up to over xxxk! :o Still toying the idea in getting a mechanical MR, maybe a pre-owned one. ;) Any advise?
Hi, Brompton,
Yes, Minute Repeaters has also make its mark in the watch industry. We have one here at the Boutique but the previous model which is the Second hand sub dial is at 9 o'clock. Feel free to come and try it, hear the chime. To have pre-owned with good history is ok just make sure all the papers are in tack.

Before you get one, please come to the Boutique and look trough it, we have one here for the IWC fans to browse first.

Hi, G. Mac,
You meant the Boutique's Personal collection, right? At the moment we only have the current collection, Limited Editions and also boutique exclusives.
-
I meant your personal collection. Ahaha. For me the only IWC i love is the BP. One of my 'must-have-someday'.

Oh,ok. My personal collection is not that great , I have one Santos 100 steel and at the moment I'm wearing a Portuguese Chrono. But I'm going to have one Ingineur Mission Earth soon which is suitable with my lifestyle as I do a lot outdoor stuffs eg. cycling etc. So Ingineur is the best watch for me with it's in house anti shock movement, anti mag and 120 meters WP. ;)

Hi!!! When I'm back in KL, I'll try to drop by to the boutique and molest some of the pieces... I kinda like the Big Ingenieur 7days PR!!!

Yeah, a preowned Mark XVI is hard to come by. But if you bump into one with a good deal, grab it ! It's a good watch, simple and accurate. Happy hunting!

Wow, brilliant your Mark XV beside our Junkers JU 52 amazing. We fixed a model kit for the Boutique it took me 2 days with another colleague to finish 1:48 scale.

I love the plane. The best part is I have been on the plane. I am still looking for a bigger model. Any info where I can get one?
-
The Scale model that we made last time was a Revell Brand but it was brought down by our Principal. I have a hunch maybe at Amcorp or Atria where there is still Model Kit shops you might get one. I doubt that Tamiya has this but Tamiya is at OU new wing at the Basement 2. Maybe you go trough their online catalogue then if there's the model you can order one.

Mark15 white dial is still my fav.

I am guessing this is the Limited Edition 50 pieces issued in 2000 to commemorate Juwelier Gadebusch's 150th anniversary?
