Really nicely done video,DAMN gorgeous actress. I thought she was Japanese at first :P
But the story really needs some re-writting.
Conveys the wrong message i think.
But those watches....oh my..droooolllll..... :Dancing_banana:
Lets discuss when everyone sees this vid.

BTW Danny, how do we embed the player or the vid in our forum? :P

Wow... speechless... This is the perfect video to show to our other half... :)
I like how the dad says... "Son, take my private jet and win back her heart"
Damn... my dad would say... "no need to think so much son, wait a day or two, she'll come back if she really loves you... if not, go find a new one!!" :HammerHead:
I wonder if we really get these kind of personalized tours and service If I really visit the place?
The whole tour and service makes one feel bad if we did not buy anything...
And 3 million for the pair of watches?
The guy just say... "Ok" :o
Overall, it's a really good video and 14 minutes well spent...
Thanks for sharing

Thanks for the video. I agree that the video needs some re-writting. I do like the tour of the manufacture. Now where is my Montblanc...... :)
-
I beg to differ...it was extremely corny and cheesy...almost a pain to watch the whole thing. No doubt who the target audiences are...still to my knowledge MB was never really a watch maker...they did make some 'designer' watches but only moved to real high end horology with the acquisition of Minerva. To imply that they (MB) was making watches for 150 yrs is kinda deceiving to me ::)
-
Corny and cheesy yes...but besides that if we focus on the tour of the manufacture its a good video.
And do you recognize the guy giving the tour and the lady adjusting the hairspring?
Vid done in Chinese you already its targeted at China and the bunch of people with "new world money" and dunno how to spend it.
-
Looks like I'm the minority then...

I've seen one of the very first Villeret pieces to arrive in KL bout 2yrs ago and i can say that the entire watch is top notch quality!
Back then i didnt know the retail price and when i heard i was shocked. That explains why the sales wearing white glove and ask me to go to the private viewing area to view the watch haha.
-
Hahahaha
`Ok son...take my private jet, and take her to a good journey and spend some quality time together'..
..the watch related part is ok and insightful..

yeah man their movies and advertising are quite crass and cheesy. although i would understand the "new" china's aspiration(s) but it's a recurring theme.
but I am no expert in Mandarin, the accent does it sound "mainland"?
-
i think its sounds like taiwanese...
-
"she's well educated and cultivated"... I like!

yeah that is exactly what i thought too. furthermore they all look like "southerners" like the majority of us of southern descent.
so this ad is for taiwan or china?
-
Looks to be China.

ok, I admit the video made me go to Mont Blanc boutique in Pavilion to look at the Villeret collection... very nice! I like... but considering that I can buy a house for that kind of $.... and no discount either... btw, it's a limited edition (No.23/58)... sigh... 23 is my birthday too... :(
-
Do you find most of the Villeret collection kinda big?
They are usually 47mm-50mm
-
yeah, but the one that costs a house, limited edition no.23/58... that's 40mm...
