Title: Spoils of war
Post by: G.MAC on April 14, 2011, 09:27:52 AM
Had a catatonic battle with myself in the never-ending war to collect watches where i self-willed myself to stop collecting them and to streamline what i currently have. Shameful to add that i lost the battle severely and came away with a dented pocket, a guilty smile on my face and two titanium beauties which are the spoils of the war. The battle took place at the boutique @ 1MontKiara( i am sure everyone knows which one i am referring to) and this happened the moment i stepped out the airport. My cabbie was willing to detour slightly and the rest is history. Out of the war, i collected 1. the timekeeping equipment by an italian designer , the Ennebi Fondale GF Black(http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/xx236/gmac88/DSC01379.jpg)(http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/xx236/gmac88/DSC01377.jpg)(http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/xx236/gmac88/DSC01371.jpg) and 2. a timepiece from Switzerland, the Davosa Titanium II(http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/xx236/gmac88/DSC01366.jpg)(http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/xx236/gmac88/DSC01367.jpg)(http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/xx236/gmac88/DSC01368.jpg) The davosa reminds me a lot of the Audemar Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Diver. Both of them are automatic and are very light despite their thickness due to their titanium cases.

Nice catch. Have never seen the Ennebi in person. Must make it a point to visit this shop in 1MontKiara the next time I am in Malaysia.

If i am not mistaken, there were only 3 there at the time i bought mine. So the remaining 2 are the sunburst dial and the one with the unidirectional bezel with black dial.
