accordingly the time sync with GPS instead of using the atomic time signal.
-
cool... now I have to go and look for it... what's the model ref. ?
-
Well with GPS, you must have line of sight. So you must find clear sky or nothing blocking the watch to sync.
-

Wow, Citizen has done good job keeping up all these tech stuff...In fact, couple yrs ago, I almost wanted to buy their Skyhawk series, but end up with Tag after brain wash by those watch shop. :Scolding:
-
Nice! looks very Urwerky..hehehe
-
That quite a feat... from citizen to tag :)
-
Yalor, I was about to say that.
If I walk in the shop wanting to buy a Citizen and the sales ppl manage to convince me to get a Tag... for the sales fellow...
-
yup, that time I was buying Casio, Seiko, then I wanted to get the Citizen. The sales guy told me why buy all those Japanese watch, it is time for you to look at Swiss. Tag is a good choice, then bla..bla... after that, now I end up with Tag, Longines, Hamilton, Oris. and recently acquire a Ball watch....I guess next time I go to other shop, they will ask me to look at IWC, Pam, and etc., :Laughing_on_floor:
-
My advise, begin with a Rolex :)

I'm more likely to END with a Rolex... :Laughing_on_floor:

i agree with sshark...... start with Rolex... you wont regret it..

Yup, I start with Titoni and end up with Rolexes.

IMHO a Rolex offers the best value in the price range.
Great material, robust-proven-inhouse movement, evergreen design (it'll look right on you now and it'll still look right on you when you're 60)
-
Totally agreed :) dun get me wrong. other brands r as good but for tat built and material Rolex seems to be a good deal (but I can't be certain if the same can be applied for the new models as the new price is bit steep). even a casual collector, if financially allowed, buy 1 rolex for ur collection.

About RM12K? I was initially interested, but not now. With that amount of money, you could get a pre-owned Sub.
-
too expensive!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Zitan, I'm not a sifu too :P
I'm as lost as u r in most of these discussions.
But I am also of the opinion that you should try your hardest for what you want although it may be crazy to others like buying those patek which may cost as much as a small car or a few motorbikes.
You really only live once mate ;)

Actually I owned a Citizen perpetual calendar....But is quartz la......Is a great and nice one. Purchase it for nearly 1 k. (http://i186.photobucket.com/albums/x157/ladyofdream123/IMG00095-20130428-1310.jpg) (http://s186.photobucket.com/user/ladyofdream123/media/IMG00095-20130428-1310.jpg.html)
For me, I don't care is Swiss made or Japanese made, as long as it serve the responsibility of telling us a accurate time and low maintenance, the most important would be within your budget. If I have 4k budget, I will go for the High End citizen as well. Since with 4 k budget, for Rolex, you could only get a relatively low end model. "I would like to be a rich man within poor man; rather become a poor man within rich gang"
just my 2 cents...........
