Heavily inspired by the Rolex Explorer ref 1655, this watch represents a class-leading traveler GMT around the USD4,000 price range, with all the bells and whistles you want from a luxury tool watch. One of the hottest model released in 2022.
Pros
i) Macho and rugged toolwatch looks
ii) Suitable for all wrist size (works for me with 6.25inch wrist) due to short lug-to-lug of 47mm with female end link which tapers perfectly at the first link
iii) Very comfortable and well built bracelet, one of the best in this price range
iv) T-fit micro adjust system, probably the smoothest and easiest to use on-the-fly microadjust system
v) True GMT - can adjust the central hour hands without stopping the time
vi) Unique lume - ceramic disc mixed with lume paint which glows very brightly
vii) Vintage looks with all the benefits of a modern dive watch
Cons
i) Some people may find it thick at 14.5mm. But > 1mm of it comes from the domed sapphire crystal. It actually wears well and can slip under long sleaves
ii) Its heavier than your average dive watch at 161g sized for my wrist, which I personally dislike but some people like to feel the heft of their watch
