Title: LUMINOX Watch 8815
Post by: Paulkky on February 23, 2011, 03:55:51 PM: Just arrived...Ordered from Online dealer in US (Way way cheaper then KL AD...hehe)...

The watch is very light and rigid...i think can stand some bashing....The lume is very good...

Just for review..what you guys think?..

Not sure if is coated...but i think the whole piece is made on PC carbon..very light material...
you will feel like nothing while wearing it...

There is no taxation or duties for watches u buy from overseas (watches are tax free)....so far all my watch reached Malaysia without any problem....especially if u buy from germany or US site...all by reputable forwarded like Fedex or UPS...it will deliver to your door step..
Buying from oversea are cheaper but warranty might be issues...some watches might have international warranty but i do not know if local AD or distributor honor it or not...

do read thru on some of our forum thread with regards to the tax concerns....

Post by: Cotsner on April 25, 2011, 06:13:34 PM: Luminox has quite some good reputation among those lume watches! But i a luminox -7053 i bought last time was a sad thing. Within 1month, the second hand just dropped off. Although fix it bac by the local AD is a piece of cake. But according to the repairer, the second hand was not so well placed! Sad! Wonder if their QC really checks! Anyway, fixing that on gives me a watch that never fails on me for so many years...and so many time of diving!

Bought both from authorized dealer in Malaysia. For most tactical watch, they run on quartz rather than mechanical to withstand from certain shock and vibration condition.
