IWC Portugieser Yacht Club Chronograph (Ref. IW390503).

The Yacht Club is the sportiest and most everyday-practical variant from IWC’s acclaimed and historic Portugieser line, with some unique features:

- twice the water resistance of regular Portugiesers
- screw-down crown, protected by crown guards
- a very high quality rubber strap for comfort and longevity in our climate (with signed deployant buckle)
- a practical date window with dial-matched date wheel
- a racy contrast-colour chronograph seconds hand
- lumed hands and markers

This edition has an exquisite yet casual vibe... an understated rich grey sunburst dial as a canvas for perennial Portugieser cues: commanding wrist presence, railroad minute track (“chemin de fer”), applied polished Arabic numeral markers and slim feuille hands. The end result is a watch with effortless duality that’s ready for a variety of wearing occasions. 

Specs:
- Classic Portugieser-proportioned 43.5 mm case and 14.1mm height, yet surprisingly wearable because of wrist-hugging turned down lugs, 22mm lug width
- 6 bar water resistance
- Mildly domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating
- Sapphire exhibition caseback
- Rugged & beautiful in-house 89361 automatic calibre with 28,800 vph, 68 hours power reserve, 38 jewels, Côtes de Genève and Perlage decorations
- Flyback function (instant chrono restart from a single push without needing to stop and reset first) with combined 60-minute and 12-hour totalizer in the top sub-dial

Condition:
Watch is in excellent unpolished condition with absolutely pristine sapphire crystal. Case and deployment clasp have very minor, very fine hairlines but hard to spot with naked eye and hard to catch in photos. Strap is also immaculate and I cannot find any scuffs/nicks/signs of wear.

Package:
Bought from local AD in 2016 (single owner, hardly worn). Complete set with AD receipt, inner and outer boxes, warranty/service booklet, warranty card, manual and unused IWC cleaning cloth.

Price:
RM26,600 firm.
